I am sure with turkey season coming to a slow yield. The thoughts of putting out the deer stands and mounting the cameras might be filling the air already. If you don't have access to some prime hunting area's and would like to team up with some groups that have successful Michigan whitetail deer hunts to Bag that Monster buck or just to have fun and eat well on some smoked venison jerky or steaks. I was driving the quad this past weekend into some remote wooded area's here in Northern Michigan and did spot some nice velvet Bucks already showing some nice size and spreads, I seen one buck within the first mile and after about 12 miles total I counted 8 white tail deer. Some with good body mass already and velvet horns. Michigan White tail deer hunting this year should be a good one in northern Michigan. In the mean time lets enjoy the summer and plot some ideas for that Monster Buck!!!
